Hospice

Holy Cross Hospice is one of only a handful of agencies in Botswana focused on delivering end-of-life palliative care services to people with HIV and AIDS, cancer, and other life-limiting illness.  

 

The majority of our staff are volunteers, some of whom receive a small stipend as they have no other source of income.  Our services are entirely dependent on the generosity of individual donors and when possible, corporate sponsors. 

 

Our focus on offering comprehensive services within an adult day care setting provides needed assistance to individuals who are often isolated at home during the day without access to nutritious food.  We also offer essential support to their families members.  Our delivery of these same services to people who are too ill or infirm to come to our center extends this palliative care to those in need within the community
